I have worked with Macdonald Realty Kerrisdale for 10 years now. I am very proud of the company I work for and the ability our agents have to excel in the market. We have exceptional support within our offices, all the way from CEO Lynn Hsu to managing broker Bill Dick.

We have a fantastic training program that all new and existing Realtors are welcome to take part in. We cover a wide array of topics all of which are very relevant to your success in the Vancouver Real Estate market.

Our training for new realtors consists of afternoon sessions from 1-5pm on Wednesday afternoons for approximately 8 weeks.  Classes are taught by myself, Simon Clayton and a number of other managment and realtors from our offices including: Keith Roy, Patricia Houlihan, Mark Winter, Rosey Hudson, Mathew Lee, and Bill Dick.

Some of the topics we cover are:

Marketing Yourself
This class will help you understand more about real estate marketing and business planning,
and contains many ideas to help you start off right by building a systems-based business.

How to Work with a Buyer

This class will help you understand more about the buying process. Topics include: The Buying Experience, The Buyer’s Agent, Meeting the Buyer, Working with the Buyer, The Buying Decision, Contracts & Writing Offers, The Protocol of Presenting Offers, and Follow-up after Offer
CMA & Listing Presentation

This class will discuss the CMA the listing presentation.

 

Prospecting

This class will discuss the concept of Prospecting and includes topics such as Prospecting vs Marketing and Lead Generation.

Marketing and Utilizing Company Programs

This class will discuss Macdonald Realty and our Marketing Programs. Topics include: Company Websites, Relocation/Referrals, Vancouver Sun, Luxury Home Marketing, and MacGreen.
Objection Handling

This class will discuss The Art of Negotiation and tips to succeed.
